Toastmasters are often viewed as being optional extras for functions, but in my 20 years of experience, they are an integral part of a function or event. Whether a wedding or a ladies' evening, toastmasters can often make the difference between a smooth successful event and a disorganised chaotic one.
One of the greatest benefits of having a toastmaster at your event is simply being able to enjoy it and not worry about who has to do what when - the people whose events I toastmaster are always extremely grateful and happy to have had me at their event.
